About Us

Life Just Became Simpler is a project started by three friends and associates in Playa Del Carmen, Mexico.  Hotel Tropical CasaBlanca, the Abyss Dive Center and Training Facility and the Dirty Martinin Lounge, all exist in the same location in the heart of Playa Del Carmen on the Caribbean side of Mexico and share the same philosophy, life is simple and we wish to make it simpler for ourselves, our guests, our divers and our friends.

We know that life gets hectic, crazy, intolerable, complicated and just sometimes, unfair.  In our location, we take all of those things away for a period of time by offering great vacation accomodations, great vacation activities and great vacation cocktails.  We think of ourselves as the ‘No Drama Zone’ where all the feelings of craziness disappear, and you just get to live in the moment, happily, consciously and without your daily burdens.  We can not take it away forever, but we can offer a place of peace for a small period of time.
