Taste of Playa is getting more support!

As a Platnium Level Sponsor, Bric International secured their commitment to Taste of Playa 2009 early on in the game.  As soon as word spread to their offices before the launch date, owner Kristin Roehmer was on the phone pledging her involvement as a sponsor and volunteer.  Her enthusiasm was well received by the Executive Committee and we will be utilizing her ideas and thoughts as the event unfolds. 

Taste of Playa is about creating an event for visitors and residents of Playa Del Carmen and showcasing some of the the best, most popular and some unheard of but not to be missed restaurants, food service providers and beverages.  What is unique to this event is that taco makers will be with 5 star Mexican hotel chefs, and celebrating the international flavors of this city.  Playa Del Carmen is an exception in the restaurant industry because it has created a balance of flavours, expertise and food knowledge.  Visitors and people who live here love the fact that they can experience Mexican, Italian, American, Thai, Indian and other international specialties all in one city…sometimes in locations beside one another and sometimes in locations a few blocks from each other.  We are fortunate and we want others to know that we are fortunate.   

Taste of Playa is a preliminary event among many held in the city and is adding a different flavor to the mix of activities that Playa has to offer.  This year, though we can not include all restaurants that we love and adore, we do think that we have picked a great selection that represent the diversity of the ‘food and beverage community’.  As the years progress we will continue to add to and include the various businesses who add variety to people’s dining experience and their time in Playa Del Carmen.
