Our Intention with this Playa Del Carmen Blog
You know…we are a little slow sometimes, sooo slow sometimes, but we eventually get it.
When the Life Just Became Simpler Blog as started last year, we never stated our intention. We never outlined what it is that we wanted to tell our readers about, we never laid it on the line. For this we apologize, but here is the story.
In the heart of Playa Del Carmen lies a property that is occupied by three businesses. In Playa Del Carmen Style, all business owners are friends, and have been friends for a long time, in most cases 8 years and in some cases, 13 years.
The Life Just Became Simpler Blog is an arm of this community which we have called the Life Just Became Simpler Community. The businesses that are involved in this community are Hotel Tropical CasaBlanca, The Abyss Dive Center and the Dirty Martini. Originally, it was the No Drama Zone, we all live simple lives, we dont get caught up in a lot of stuff, Dave has a family, Greco a girlfriend and Nicola, well she is just not the partying type. Don’t get us wrong, Greco and Dave happily drink for all three of us, and have partied over the last 15 and 13 years for all of us…but we really want a simple life, with simple pleasures and simple ideas.
We are together as a community though we all have our own businesses. We keep it simple but we each support one another. Hence the Life Just Became Simpler Community.
OUr intention with this blog is to tell people about what is happening in our community and this community includes the community of Playa Del Carmen. We are inclusive, we don’t shun our competitors as our competitors are our friends. None of us would shun a friends and bottom line is we are all in this together. We share our community and we talk about our immediate community but also the community that we live in. We think this is the best way to exist.
